It’s become a sort of contest between fans to compare two of the hottest and most in-demand actresses in the Kapamilya network – Nadine Lustre and Kathryn Bernardo.

Even though Nadine is actually a Viva artist, she can also be seen gracing the halls of ABS-CBN with her boyfriend, James Reid.

The most obvious comparison fans focus on is their physical appearances – Nadine and Kathryn look alike on first glance. It’s because both of them have a kayumanggi skin tone, same physical built, and almost the same eyes.

There have been numerous instances wherein Kathryn and Nadine have been pitted against each other but the most recent one includes the incident where Kathryn supposedly mimicked Nadine’s look.

YouTube channel “Showbiz Philippines” released a viral video that showed netizens bashing Kathryn because of her attire. According to these netizens, the combo was first worn by Nadine. As of this writing, it has gained 2,167 views and 18 likes.


What was Kathryn wearing? It was a short tube top paired with gray shorts and a gray coat. Kathryn also wore heels and a red cabbie hat.

Apparently, netizens said that Nadine wore the same combo before. They also added that Kathryn seemingly wears similar kind of outfits after Nadine has shown them off.

One even commented that Kathryn’s stylist must idolize Nadine that much due to the similarity of their outfits.


The report added that even a fashion website has noticed the two actresses’ style. They gathered pictures of both actresses and juxtaposed them to compare and prove that they have seemingly similar tastes.

One showed a picture of Kathryn with white sleeveless top and athletic sweatpants with matching sunglasses. Meanwhile, Nadine wore a white cropped top and athletic sweatpants as well.

She also paired it with slightly tinted sunglasses.

Even though the color of the sweatpants was different, the picture implied that both have similar fashion.

However, they didn’t list down details about when and where Nadine and Kathryn wore the outfits. For all we know, it may all just be a coincidence.
